What are you doing to your car(s) over the Winter break? Any mods or discussions with pics are best.

As far as I know. But my Dad has moved in with us, and been in and out of the hospital several times. He is currently in and having two intrusive procedures done this morning. (He is 92). Barring anything happening with him, I will be there.

Updates- Front end is 3-4" lower. Sits mean looking. Also added the March Serpentine kit today- Kind of hard to see, but has all new pulleys, brackets, new 140A alternator, new power steering pump, new high flow water pump. Might be rolling next Saturday, after new tires mounted. Also rebuilding and tweaking carb.

Yeah, me either. Can't wait to drive it. Starting to wonder if I can get it on the road for Saturday night, just to go to CP.
Got tires on today. Still need to: -redo the intake gasket, -got an MSD distributor, -need to mount new MSD 6A, -and the dial timing control, -need to wire the new alternator, -need to mount the power steering lines and get that functional.
It seems like i'm missing something, but I can't think any more today. Also got a new workbench in the garage and have been clearing, cleaning, organizing, etc along the way. Put up fluorescent shop lights.

;DWhat's the turn out like at CP? Never been. Have plans to go to Cabela's but might change my mind.

It varies every week. Usually ok. I have been wanting to hit Cabelas again too, but keep hearing it hasn't really started back up from Winter. I really can't imagine that though. Once it's decent out, people come out. I will be making the maiden voyage to CP tonight, roughly 5-9PM.

;DWent to Cabela's this past Saturday night, about 50 cars. Decent showing until about 8 when the rain hit totally unexpected. Threw the hood on and winched her into the trailer before it got too wet.

Cool. I look forward to going back there. Usually better than CP, just so dang far, for me.

We did Cabelas last week. Wasn't too bad. The upgrades are almost done. I am scrambling to get the new MSD box and dial control on. I am doing a new mount with them on a plate to the firewall, and adding heat shields coated with ceramic header paint. Hopefully it will help. The wiring diagrams they give you are as clear as mud. I am taking my time as I do not want to burn anything up. I will have it all mounted by Friday for Roundup, and hopefully actually wired up and working.
Of course this still leaves- -new window tint -new electric cutouts and all new exhaust -new seats and carpet
Would like to get these done before the Power Tour in June. A 700R4 would be great too, but . . . . .
